Founder of Homegrown Creative Collective, Homegrown Prints & Popups, and the Ipswich Homegrown Market, Dana is a community builder, designer, and champion of local creativity. Based in Ipswich, Massachusetts, she’s passionate about connecting North Shore artists, makers, and dreamers through vibrant events, handmade goods, and shared spaces that celebrate the spirit of “shop small.”

When she’s not curating local talent or creating custom designs in her studio, you can find Dana brainstorming new ways to bring people together — always with a Diet Coke in hand and a vision for something beautifully homegrown. 🌿✨

Boat Day started small—selling 100 blue t-shirts right off a friend's boat to see if the idea would stick. What began as a fun way to share the good vibes on the water quickly grew into a brand built on good vibes, quality, and functional style. Whether you're enjoying a few cold ones to relax or working to make a living on a boat, we’ve got something for you.

Our goal is to bring people together and capture that amazing feeling of a perfect boat day.  Because let’s face it—everybody loves a Boat Day!

Hi there - I’m Jenn, the founder and creator behind Candlelilla Co. Growing up as a highly sensitive person, I struggled to find products that didn’t irritate my skin or cause headaches, so I began creating my own all-natural solutions.

Over the last decade, I turned to holistic and healing practices to help me stay grounded while working in the non-profit and education fields where stress and burnout are so often the norm.

In a world that pressures us to be everything to everyone, being intentional about self-care helped me to cultivate a greater sense of balance and regain my health. Now lighting a candle has become a favorite part of my daily routine - a moment of calm to myself - and I hope it becomes part of yours too.

As a Reiki practitioner and meditator, I love creating items that not only smell amazing, but that help bring a sense of mindfulness and healing into our lives. I hope you feel that care and love each time you use one of my products.

Steve and Anthony Nickas, two brothers who had always shared a close bond, found themselves drifting apart as adulthood took hold. Steve, the older brother, had built a successful career as an Entrepreneur, while Anthony, with his courageous spirit, thrived as a Captain in the Fire Service.

The demands of their careers and personal lives made their once inseparable relationship more difficult to maintain. Longing for the camaraderie of their youth, they searched for a way to reconnect and spend time together.

The e. scott originals team makes all our jewelry in our little brick and mortar shop located at 199b Highland Ave. in Somerville, MA.

e. scott originals specializes in handmade, original jewelry inspired by urban life and mother nature. Collections range from everyday staples to artistic adornments, but all pieces are meant to be worn daily and loved forever.

We create the new heirloom.

With training from the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA owner, designer and bench jeweler Emily Scott Surette blends a mix of strong technical, old-world skills with a creative brain to create collections full of interest and intrigue, made to last a lifetime and beyond.

The precious metals used in the shop are recycled and Emily seeks to use antique stones whenever possible, so as not to promote new mining. When not possible, she makes sure the stones are ethically sourced and of great quality, from reputable dealers who follow the Kimberly Process. 

Every piece is made in her studio, giving each one a unique look and feel so no two items are exactly the same. We make things by hand, without CAD or 3D printing, giving all our pieces a truly handmade feel!

A late blooming artist, my art journey began in earnest in 2020. Frustrated with my painting skills, I resolved to learn how to draw - how to really draw for the first time in my almost 50 years.

Initially I wanted to learn how to draw to improve my painting but when I started drawing with charcoal my aspirations shifted. I enjoyed working with charcoal so much more than any other medium that I resolved to spend as much time with charcoal as possible.

Until early 2025 I used charcoal exclusively but this year my love of painting has been rekindled. I'm currently experimenting with pastels and acrylics while maintaining my drawing practice.

Inspired by the love we share with our furry best friends, Diesel and LuLu, we give a portion of our profits (no less than 10%) to animal rescues and shelters to fund their ongoing efforts to save, rehabilitate, and foster pups (and other animals) while finding them loving forever homes. Since March 2020, French Press has contributed over $48,000 through proceeds from product sales, providing much-needed support to these amazing organizations:
